Monday's blog

I've decided to take a tip from a contestant on the biggest loser. I
have written a small "20" on my wrist so I can see what my 6 week goal
is. With it constantly in front of me, I will have a motivator on
hand when I have some food choices in front of me, when I'm tired and
don't feel like working out, or when I get distracted from my goal.
It's working out so far because I'm very hungry and am not scheduled
to eat until 11:30 and have been able to pass up all the crap that is
in our snack/soda area.
Also, because I couldn't face the elliptical after laying awake since
2:30 am this morning and needed to get to work early today I'll be
hitting it when I get home before going to Pearla's. I'm sure it will
be uncomfortably hot and it will be the last thing I want to do when I
get home, but I'll look at the "20" and do it with a smile. Well,
maybe not with a smile.
